Foster Group, a fee-only wealth management firm in West Des Moines, is looking for cyclists to participate in the Foster 50 Ride on Sunday, Sept. 13. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the ride begins at 10 a.m., ending with an after-party of food, drinks and giveaways. The goal of the event is for 50 cyclists to ride 50 miles and each donate $1,000. All contributions will be made to Siouxland Tanzania Educational Medical Ministries, a Sioux City nonprofit group dedicated to meeting the needs of impoverished children in Tanzania, Africa, including medical care and educational opportunities.
