On With Life, a brain injury rehabilitation center based in Ankeny, will hold a fundraising event, “Celebrate Life,” at the center on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 6:30 p.m. Gov. Terry Branstad will speak at the event, along with Troy DeJoode, whose family was served by On With Life following a serious auto accident.  Music, food and drinks will be provided, along with tours of the recently expanded facilities at 715 S.W. Ankeny Road, which include an outpatient center, aquatic therapy pool, practice apartment and wellness education center. Funds raised through the “Celebrate Life” event will go directly toward providing life-changing specialized therapy equipment for the continuum of services at On With Life.
