IowaWORKS Centers across the state will hold events for employers and job seekers as part of Registered Apprenticeship Appreciation and Awareness Week Nov. 12-18. Among the events in Greater Des Moines will be “Narrowing the Workforce Gap: Connecting Food Industry Employers and Iowans with Disabilities,” scheduled Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Iowa Culinary Institute on the Ankeny campus of  Des Moines Area Community College.
