The family of 11-year-old Michael Jaramillo alleges that negligence by the Iowa’s Division of Labor was the “proximate cause” of the boy’s drowning on the Raging River ride and injuries to other family members, claims obtained by the Des Moines Register under Iowa’s open records law show.
