A selection of photographs featuring women working in various agricultural roles will be featured during National Ag Day activities Wednesday at the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. The photographs were taken by Marji Guyler-Alaniz of Urbandale, the proprietor of FarmHer, an ongoing project where Guyler-Alaniz Guyler-Alaniz documents the important role that women play in agriculture throughout the U.S. Through FarmHer, Guyler-Alaniz’s goal is to update the image of agriculture to include women.
