Overland Park, Kan.-based Ferrellgas Inc. Iowa’s largest liquid petroleum gas distributor, signed an agreement with Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller on Wednesday to provide future customers with a clear pricing summary sheet.

The sheet will provide information about the company’s pricing programs, including company surcharges and fees.

“This agreement should minimize confusion for Ferrellgas customers across Iowa,” Miller said in a news release.

In the past, Iowa consumers expressed conern about prices that were higher than expected when reviewing their Ferrellgas bills, the release said.

The agreement takes full effect on Jan. 1.
