Finalists named for ISU president position
Two finalists have been announced for the presidency at Iowa State University. The finalists are Steven Leath, vice president for research and sponsored programs at the University of North Carolina System, and Kumble Subbaswamy, provost of the University of Kentucky.
The search committee at Iowa State had originally invited four candidates to be finalists, but two withdrew from the search, citing personal reasons. Each finalist will be on campus this week and participate in an open forum. Subbaswamy’s forum will be on Thursday at 3:45 p.m., and Leath’s will be Friday at 3:45 p.m. Both will be at 2019 Morrill Hall.
