Flying Hippo lands at Market One

Third St. in Des Moines’ East Village, landing within a few city blocks from where the web design and marketing company was founded. Last year, the city of Des Moines and the Iowa Economic Development Authority approved incentives that allowed the company to move from Urbandale. Flying Hippo was founded in 2003 in Des Moines in offices at 300 Eighth St. that were demolished to make way for the Wells Fargo & Co. downtown expansion.
