Former Dell exec seeks to boost female entrepreneurs with latest venture
BizWomen.com: Dell Inc.’s former entrepreneur-in-residence has launched a company that offers software designed to provide female entrepreneurs with the tools they need to start a business. Two weeks ago, Ingrid Vanderveldt launched her Empowering a Billion Women by 2020 after unveiling it in March. It features a so-called “business in a box” platform with back-office software and $100 million in available credit — through several lenders such as Dell Financial Services — during the next 12 months.
