Former Des Moines Register Publisher Laura Hollingsworth has been named senior vice president of marketing in the entertainment division of Ryman Hospitality Properties, the Tennessean reported. Hollingsworth, who worked for Gannett Co. for nearly 30 years, had also served as president of the Tennessean in Nashville and in regional leadership in the USA Today Network. She will oversee Ryman’s brand vision and strategy for holdings that include Ole Red Tishomingo, Nashville and Gatlinburg as well as Opry City Stage.
