Fortune reveals Most Powerful Women in Business list

The 2019 list of the Most Powerful Women in Business comprises more CEOs, more promotions and more competition than ever, according to Fortune.com. This is the 22nd annual edition of the list, and it also includes 10 newcomers — most of them chief executives. Coming in at the top of the list is Marillyn Hewson, president and CEO of Lockheed Martin. The women rounding out the top five most powerful were Mary Barra, chairman and CEO of General Motors; Abigail Johnson, chairman and CEO of Fidelity Investments; Ginny Rometty, chairman, president and CEO of IBM; and Gail Boudreaux, president and CEO of Anthem.
