What are your goals in your role at your company?
While On With Life is known on a national level for our innovative, person-centric approach to rehabilitation, we are a fairly unknown secret in Iowa. My hope is to enhance On With Life’s presence through strategic partnerships, program development and collaborative efforts, all while navigating the constantly changing health care environment.

What are your goals for community involvement?
Supporting the innovation and development of entrepreneurs and small businesses is key to the success of our communities. I’m proud to be a member of Ankeny’s Economic Development Council and Chamber of Commerce board, both of which are currently undergoing initiatives to identify and support the needs of entrepreneurs/businesses.

What’s your biggest passion, and why?
Supporting, encouraging and motivating others to understand their true potential have always been a passion of mine. When individuals are personally invested in becoming their best selves, only then are they able to understand the importance of, and the role they need to play in, helping and serving others.

What is it that drives you?
Even from a young age I remember not enjoying being told that something was impossible. I always had the “I’ll prove you wrong” attitude. While this probably got me in trouble when I was 10, I truly feel that it drives me today in so many aspects of my life.

What are your future aspirations?
I have so much respect for those who make the commitment to launch a business. It isn’t easy, but the challenge, the risk and the ultimate reward of starting my own business are a dream of mine. I’ll let you know when I figure out exactly what that business is.
