What are your goals in your role at your company?
I look to empower our passionate and ambitious team to develop bold, specific design narratives and project concepts. Each day we seek to engage community so that people and place transform.

What are your goals for community involvement?
I am excited to work more with design students at ISU. Recently, I have been advising teams for the ULI urban design competition studio each spring.

What’s your biggest passion, and why?
Inspiring other designers on our team and in our community to stretch themselves to achieve their best work and believe in what they are doing.

What is it that drives you?
Considering people, experience and connection to contribute to walkable urban spaces that are welcoming to everyone. When non-architects post on our social media thanking us for making Des Moines special, I know we are on the right path.

What are your future aspirations?
I want to see our urban neighborhoods in Des Moines become more connected, walkable and vibrant while continuing to be diverse and affordable. We have vacant single family lots within walking distance to our downtown.
