What are your goals in your role at your company?
Along with my representation of clients in Central Iowa, I am assisting two of the largest U.S. energy companies on wind projects worth over $3.6 billion that will generate 2,000 megawatts of power in rural Iowa and Nebraska. To expand Davis Brown’s geographic reach, I am applying for admission to the Kansas State Bar Association.

What are your goals for community involvement?
Sports have had a big impact on my life, and I believe everybody deserves an opportunity to play. Courage League Sports provides adaptive sports programs for children and adults with physical, cognitive or emotional disabilities. I am a coach of their Dominators power soccer team, an amazing group of people.

What’s your biggest passion, and why?
Living life well and being present. There is no perfect work-life balance, so I do my best to find mine. When I’m on a call I’m locked into my client’s needs, but when I’m with my 16-month-old daughter I’m 100 percent focused on building the perfect Lego castle for her to smash.

What is it that drives you?
Finding solutions. I take pride in navigating complex transactions for clients who are making Central Iowa a better place to live and work.

What are your future aspirations?
I want to be a positive role model and mentor for other professional women. I was fortunate to have the support of strong women early in my career, within my firm and the community, and I want to hold the door open for the next generation.
