What are your goals in your role at your company?
I would like to continue to improve and grow the impact our bankers have on businesses and the community, which we serve. I look forward to our team performing at the highest level of service and for us to continue to grow in the coming year.

What are your goals for community involvement?
I am a commercially licensed pilot and miss flying. I have looked into establishing a nonprofit for children with cancer, who have an interest in aviation. As a musician, I would like to finish a studio-produced album for fun.

What’s your biggest passion, and why?
Bankers change lives every day and have a passion for servitude. Giving back in the communities where we work and live is one of the ways we put people first at U.S. Bank — I am passionate about our ability to positively impact customers and the community.

What is it that drives you?
When I moved back to Iowa at the start of the recession, I saw the economy affected [by the recession] and how small businesses were struggling to grow. Many people lost jobs and businesses closed. I was inspired to invest in higher education so that I could continue to help businesses succeed.

What are your future aspirations?
When the time is right, I would like to take on greater responsibilities within our bank. I would also like to find ways to pursue other passions I have with flying and music. When I retire, I may start an aviation charter company and get back into playing live acoustic shows on guitar.
