What are your goals in your role with your company?
As a client development manager for Terracon with a technical background in environmental engineering, one of my internal duties is to help our technical staff connect and communicate with clients. My goal is to have our staff so skilled at forming client relationships and mentoring the next generation to do the same that it renders my position obsolete.

What are your goals for community involvement?
Through my role on the boards of the Downtown Chamber and Des Moines Social Club, I would like to play a part in making Des Moines a premier cultural and arts destination that inspires the imagination and develops the creative spirit of our community. I would like to see things that are created here send shockwaves throughout the arts world.

What’s your biggest passion, and why?
People. I am surrounded by awesome people from every facet of society that either remind me to not take life too seriously or remind me that I have goals that require constant work. In the middle lies the happy place that gives me the tireless passion to always have productive fun.

What is it that drives you?
I am an immigrant who moved to Des Moines with nothing more than a suitcase and a dream.  This community gave me opportunities to lead a fulfilling life filled with success and love. I see everything I do as an opportunity to reinvest in the community and people that invested in me.

What are your future aspirations?
I would like to open up a comedy venue in Des Moines that would feature local improvisational and stand-up comedy. I would like it to help promote Des Moines as a destination for inclusive, diverse and hilarious comedy, and help foster growth of its current comedy scene.
