Foundation announces scholarship for underprivileged youth
The H. Dale and Lois Bright Foundation has established a new renewable four-year scholarship to help three Iowa students each year.
The Bright Scholars of Iowa scholarship is a need-based grant and will help students by paying full tuition, books and room and board.
The foundation will name the first three recipients, who will attend Iowa State University, the University of Northern Iowa and the University of Iowa, at 11 a.m. Friday at the Bright Grandview Golf Course Clubhouse, 2401 E. 29th St., Des Moines.
