Should the Senate confirm the appointment, Gannon’s term will run through April 30, when she will be eligible for a full four-year appointment. The three-member board administers the state’s collective bargaining statute. Gannon is a consultant who previously was a lawyer for the Iowa Association of School Boards and a researcher for the Iowa Senate Democratic caucus.
