Gasoline prices dropped again last week
Average retail gasoline prices in Des Moines have fallen 5.7 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.53 on Sunday. The national average dropped 4.8 cents per gallon over the last seven days to $3.66, according to gasoline price website DesMoinesGasPrices.com. Local prices on Sunday were 81.4 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and 26.7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 19 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 92.7 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
