Gayman won’t seek reelection to Urbandale council

He joined the council in 2007, has lived in the suburb for 34 years, and has had leadership roles that included chairing the DART transit and mobility agency commission. “Urbandale is a great community, and I have enjoyed my time serving on the City Council representing our residents,” Gayman said. “I’m proud to have supported many economic initiatives that welcomed many new companies to the Urbandale community.” During his tenure, Urbandale hired full-time firefighters and rescue workers and built a new fire station and new interstate highway interchanges. Gayman owns Performance Realty LLC, a local commercial real estate firm.
