Interested in learning about the life of a female STEM professional? Girls and families are invited to the Science Center of Iowa’s Girls in Science Festival to explore a variety of careers in the “STEM Zones” and connect with female role models and mentors. The festival is scheduled for Feb. 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Girls ages 8-13 can register for workshops conducted by scientists.
