Global Spectrum has named Chris Connolly as the new general manager of the Iowa Events Center. Connolly previously managed the Roanoke Civic Center, a Global Spectrum-managed property in Roanoke, Va., and has 12 years in event center management. He replaces Matt Homan, who was promoted to general manager of Global Spectrum’s flagship arena, the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Connolly and Homan will transition into their new roles over the next two months. “Chris is an incredibly talented public assembly facility manager,” said John Page, Global Spectrum’s chief operating officer. “We are confident that Chris will be able to continue to achieve similar successes that we had under Matt at the Iowa Events Center.”
