Gockley named chief information officer at the Iowa Clinic

In his new role, Gockley will lead technology strategy, drive modernization and support operations. “We are fortunate and pleased to welcome Brandon,” said Ben Vallier, CEO of the Iowa Clinic, in a news release. “His leadership and vision will be invaluable as we enhance operational capabilities and continue to deliver exceptional experiences for both patients and care teams.” Gockley said he views innovation as simplifying navigation for patients, ensuring secure information exchange and minimizing wait times. “We empower patients when we give them tools to be active participants in their health decisions,” he said in the release. “That’s where technology becomes transformational.” Gockley was most recently CIO of the Lexington Clinic in Lexington, Ky.
