Google Fiber, a sister company to Google LLC, will be located in street-level space at Junction House, a new mixed-use project at 329 Fifth St. The three-story building includes commercial space on the first floor and apartments on the second and third floors. Google Fiber, which will begin providing high-speed internet access later this year to West Des Moines residences and businesses, will house its offices and retail space in the 4,000 square feet of space it is leasing. The company is expected to move into its new space by October. Adam Kaduce, senior vice president at R&R Realty Group, and Maria Davis, R&R’s commercial real estate director, worked with Google Fiber to find the space. Junction House 329 LLC is the project’s owner and developer. The development team includes developers Tim Rypma, Scott Cutler, Jeremy Cortright and Paul Cownie. Apartment residents are expected to begin moving into Junction House in April, according to Rypma.
