Gov. Branstad to give annual Condition of the State speech Tuesday

Terry Branstad details his budget proposals and vision for the year in his Condition of the State address at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Branstad’s speech will be streamed live by Iowa Public Television at iptv.org, with a Democratic response by Senate Majority Leader Michael Gronstal following. IPTV WORLD (.3) also will carry the speech live, and IPTV will show it again at 6:30 p.m Tuesday. During the rebroadcast, Kay Henderson, news director for Radio Iowa; Des Moines Register political columnist Kathie Obradovich; and James Lynch, political writer for The Gazette, will describe the governor’s priorities and prospects for the session.
