The Greater Des Moines Partnership recently promoted Courtney Shaw to chief communications officer and Renae Mauk to vice president of downtown development. As chief communications officer, Shaw will continue to lead the organization’s communications and marketing team and expand her role to assist with organizational planning. Shaw has worked at the Partnership since 2019, most recently serving as senior vice president for communications since 2021. As vice president of downtown development, Mauk will continue to lead the organization’s downtown economic development efforts and take an expanded role in leading special projects. Mauk has worked as senior director of downtown development for the Partnership since March.
