Green Economy conference is under way
The Northern Plains and Rocky Mountain Consortium is hosting “Researching the Green Economy” today and Wednesday at the Renaissance Des Moines Savery Hotel at 401 Locust St.
The conference is intended to disseminate the most up-to-date green economy research, with a number of keynote speakers.
The results of a survey of 20,000 Iowa employers, which were asked to help identify current and future demand for green occupations in the state, are expected to be released in May.
