DMOS Orthopaedic Centers announced that its board has appointed Rich Green as chief operating officer, effective July 11. Green was affiliated with DMOS in 1994 as a supervisor in UnityPoint Health Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centers. In 2006, he left UPH to become a clinic supervisor at Mercy Clinics in Urbandale. Green then returned to DMOS in 2016 as the director of Physical and Hand Therapy and set up clinics in three central Iowa locations. “Rich has spent his entire career in the healthcare industry and brings a wealth of knowledge to this position,” said Dr. Nicholas Honkamp, DMOS president. Green also serves as director of medical services for the the IMT Des Moines Marathon and as an adjunct professor at Grand View University.
