Hatten to lead corporate community engagement at Holmes Murphy

Holmes Murphy has named Susan Hatten as senior manager for corporate community engagement. In the newly created position, Hatten will be responsible for the development of strategic philanthropy initiatives for the Holmes Murphy Foundation and will serve as philanthropic adviser for the enterprise. Hatten, who joined the company as a senior consultant in July 2014, “has developed an extensive network that will prove valuable as she develops and implements a charitable giving and corporate engagement strategy in each of Holmes Murphy’s markets,” the company said. Hatten, who last year was named the 2017 Emerging Woman of Influence by the Business Record, is active in numerous organizations, among them the Wine Festival Foundation, the Global Insurance Accelerator and Million Women Mentors Iowa. She is currently vice president of operations and incoming state board president for Variety  the Children’s Charity of Iowa.
