Wildwood Hills Ranch, a Madison County nonprofit that serves at-risk youths, has raised more than $280,000 through two events supported by Heart of America Group. The Wild About the Child Barn Dance was made possible by a significant contribution from the Moline, Ill.-based hotel and restaurant group as the event’s presenting sponsor. Heart of America also provided use of the Machine Shed restaurant and staff on Thanksgiving Day to raise funds to benefit the ranch. The fundraising events provided money for 350 student scholarships to the ranch. One thousand Iowa youths ages 8 to 18 are are served annually through a summer program, monthly retreats and equine therapy at Wildwood Hills Ranch.
