Here’s a chance to help DART plan for the future
The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) will have public meetings to determine what type of public transit system it needs to develop by 2035. DART is working with the planning firm Transportation Management and Development to develop a plan. It is seeking public input. The first round of meetings is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. April 5 and 5:30 p.m. April 6 at the Des Moines Central Library, 1000 Grand Ave.; 5:15 p.m. April 5 at the Urbandale Public Library, 3520 86th St.; and 5:30 p.m. April 7 at Ankeny City Hall, 410 W. First St. In addition, an online survey is available at www.surveymonkey.com/s/DARTforward.
