High school students show off business ideas
Tonight at Valley High School in West Des Moines, students will get to show off their business ideas at an Entrepreneurship Fair from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the school’s auditorium. Students in Sarah Bird’s entrepreneurship class came up with business plans to present to local volunteer business advisers.
Additionally, Dawn Bowlus, the director of the Jacobson Institute for Youth Entrepreneurship at the University of Iowa, and Greg Abel, the chairman, president and CEO of MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co., will speak.
