HNI posts net loss; better numbers than a year ago
Muscatine-based HNI Corp. announced yesterday a net loss for the first quarter of $100,000.
That was an improvement from a net loss of $1.8 million, or 4 cents per share, in the same quarter of 2011. Sales for the quarter were $445.2 million, a 12 percent increase over the prior year.
