Holmes Murphy Foundation contributes $100k in collective impact to local nonprofits

Holmes Murphy is providing $100,000 in philanthropic contributions to 25 nonprofit organizations across the United States, including six in Iowa, through the Holmes Murphy Foundation Community Footprints Program. The nonprofits in Iowa that will receive funding from the program are Can Do Cancer, Can Play and Count the Kicks in Central Iowa; Indian Creek Nature Center and I Know Jack Foundation in Cedar Rapids; and Tri-County Opportunities Council in Davenport. The Holmes Murphy Foundation Community Footprints Program allows employees to select 501(c)(3) or nonprofit organizations in their specific geographical locations that align with the Holmes Murphy Foundation giving pillars of safety, health and well-being; youth opportunities; arts and culture; and diversity, equity and inclusion, according to a press release. “Our goal at Holmes Murphy will always be to make a difference at work, home and in our communities,” Dan Keough, Holmes Murphy chairman and CEO, said in a prepared statement. “We believe in supporting organizations that are authentic and that will help us sustain a culture where every person is supported to reach their fullest ability.”
