The program offers eligible homebuyers a $30,000 deferred loan at zero percent interest to pair with a fixed-rate first mortgage from a participating lender. Neighborhood Finance Corp. will manage the fund. The seminar is open to anyone interested in buying a home in Polk County and looking to learn more about the program. Attendees will receive information about eligibility requirements, application procedures and the program’s benefits from experts from Neighborhood Finance Corp., Lincoln Savings Bank, and Re/Max Precision. The session will be held at the Re/Max Precision Urban Office at 3720 Sixth Ave. from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The seminar is free, and interested parties can register on the Facebook event page.
