Merschman transitioned from his previous position as vice president. “I am honored to take on the responsibilities of president at Homemakers. … I am committed to building on our legacy of excellence and driving continued growth and innovation,” Merschman said in a prepared statement. The company, founded by Carl and Ina Merschman in 1974, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the release said.
