Homesteaders Solutions Group, a recently launched subsidiary of Homesteaders Life Co. in West Des Moines, has hired Michelle Hartley as senior business development manager. Hartley brings nearly three decades of experience in preneed, insurance, client services and marketing to Homesteaders, said Jill Muenich, president of Homesteaders Solutions Group. In her new role, Hartley will be focused on continuous development and expansion of best-in-class resources provided to funeral home customers, agents and marketing organizations. Before joining Homesteaders, Hartley spent 29 years with National Guardian Life Insurance Co. in various functional and leadership roles including marketing, partner support, customer service and distribution solutions.
