Hope Ministries, a nonprofit that serves those experiencing homelessness, hunger, abuse or addiction in Central Iowa, has announced the appointment of Cole Lindholm as its new president and CEO. Lindholm steps into the role after a 25 year career with Hope Ministries. He previously held the positions of director of men’s ministries and director of human resources and community outreach. Lindholm succeeds Leon Negen, who retired from the organization on March 31 after 31 years at the nonprofit. Negen will move into an advisory capacity, serving as CEO emeritus, a news release said. “We are thrilled to see Cole step into his new role at the helm of Hope Ministries,” Hope Ministries board chairman Alan Gross said in a prepared statement. “He brings decades of experience into his new position, and he has the vision and leadership qualities needed to lead Hope Ministries into our next season of growth and service to our community.”
