House prices up 5 percent through March
Greater Des Moines house prices dropped 0.3 percent from February to March, but remained 5.2 percent higher than in March 2015, according to a report from real estate research firm CoreLogic Inc. The year-to-year increase trailed the national average of 6.7 percent. CoreLogic predicted that prices will increase 5.3 percent through March 2017.
