Huggins to leave Reynolds administration
Gov. Kim Reynolds announced today that Catherine Huggins, her chief advisor, will return to her previous role as executive vice president at Huggins Consulting Group on Aug. 1. Huggins will remain a close advisor to the governor and her staff, Reynolds said in a statement. “For many years, I’ve valued Catherine’s strategic thinking, expertise, and unique ability to forge diverse relationships,” Reynolds was quoted as saying in a news release. “She was my first chief advisor as lieutenant governor and I was proud to appoint her to the role again in 2017.” In her current role, Huggins leads the statewide Women in Leadership Initiative, supports entrepreneurs, start-ups and small business owners, and manages special projects such as the U.S. Census 2020 effort.
