Hy-Vee Inc. announced Friday that it has partnered with Canadian clothing brand Joe Fresh to offer fashion apparel and accessories in selected stores, replacing the partnership it entered into with fashion retailer F&F in 2017. The Joe Fresh brand, which Hy-Vee described as an “affordable brand with essential style, smart value and every day relevance” is primarily sold in nearly 1,500 Canadian retail locations. The brand will be sold initially in four Des Moines-area Hy-Vee locations — Urbandale and Mills Civic stores this month, followed by Ankeny and Fleur stores in August and late September. “We transitioned our fashion retail partnership to Joe Fresh to offer larger product diversity with Midwestern styles that we believe will be appealing to the Hy-Vee shopper,” said Darren Baty, executive vice president of non-foods for Hy-Vee.
