Hy-Vee buys Minnesota pharmacies

Weber & Judd has served the Rochester, Minn., area since 1862, according to a release. Patient files will automatically transfer to Hy-Vee, and the pharmacies will be named Hy-Vee HealthMarket Rx. In recent months, Hy-Vee also has acquired the business of 28 Shopko pharmacies in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin. The Weber & Judd acquisition adds 10 pharmacy locations to the Hy-Vee portfolio. The pharmacies will close April 12 and reopen April 15 under the Hy-Vee pharmacy banners.
