IDOT seeks public input on U.S. 30 improvement project in Boone County
The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking public input for a proposed improvement project along U.S. Highway 30 near Boone. The improvements are for the intersection of U.S. 30 and County Road R18, about 1¼ miles west of the Des Moines River in Boone County. Construction is expected to begin in 2023. Traffic on U.S. 30 will be maintained, with short-term single-lane closures. Comments can be made on the IDOT website. Comments must be received by June 20.
