The company, founded in 2015 by CEO Tod Puetz, rents and sells mobile LED screen trailers and other audio-visual equipment and installs video walls. Insane Impact originally was located in Urbandale and has since outgrown several other Des Moines-area locations, according to a news release. The company is currently located at 7400 S.W. 22nd St. in Des Moines.
The new 55,000-square-foot facility will include offices and warehouse space. “One of the features of our new facility that will play a major role in our continued growth is our state-of-the-art showroom,” Puetz said in a news release. “We will showcase best-in-class products. … The proximity to the airport allows us to conveniently fly customers in and out, making it easy to host them for new product introductions and training seminars.”
Grading on the 2.8-acre site has begun. Documents filed with the city of Des Moines place the project’s value at $3 million.
Construction of the facility is expected to be completed by early 2025.
The project’s developer is Next Phase Development; its architect is Rains Architecture.
