Five Iowa high school seniors received a 2025 Iowa Bankers Association Student Athlete Achievement Award during the Iowa High School Girls’ State Basketball Tournament championships on March 7-8 in Des Moines. One student from each class was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the IBA to the college of her choice. Scholarship recipients are selected each year based on their academic performance, athletic participation, leadership skills and community involvement. This year’s scholarship recipients included:

• Class 1A: Ellen Cook, Montezuma High School, Montezuma
• Class 2A: Kelsey Hoeger, Maquoketa Valley High School, Delhi
• Class 3A: Natalie Nichols, West Marshall High School, State Center
• Class 4A: Margo Schuiteman, Sioux Center High School, Sioux Center
• Class 5A: Macy Harnden, Dowling Catholic High School, West Des Moines
