The Iowa Credit Union Foundation recently awarded scholarships to eight high school students and four post-high school students. The annual Warren A. Morrow Memorial Scholarship program, which this year awarded a total of $23,000, is in memory of the late credit union leader Warren Morrow, and is open to credit union members pursuing or completing postsecondary education. The awards were based on the best responses to an essay question asking the students to share “how your credit union demonstrates the people helping people philosophy in action” and to share “an experience of when you contributed your time and/or talents in the community and what you learned from that experience.”
