The Iowa Department of Revenue has launched new capabilities to the state’s integrated tax and licensing system and customer-facing portal, GovConnectIowa. The efforts aim to better serve Iowa’s people, governments and businesses and streamline numerous tax-related processes. According to a press release, the department is completing the fourth rollout of a five-year effort to modernize and simplify processes for individuals and businesses in Iowa. The fourth rollout includes adding multiple local government services to the integrated portals and launching five new portals into the GovConnectIowa program.
