Recently hired as the regional manager of Iowa Women Lead Change, Bobbi Segura will become an even more familiar face in the coming months. Already a longtime volunteer for IWLC, Segura brings to the role extensive volunteer, nonprofit and women’s leadership advancement expertise.

 

Where she’s been

Segura founded B.Segura Consultants,

a marketing and business development firm, in 2008. She served as a partner/member of Plum Communications LLC, a collaborative group of writers, designers and marketing entrepreneurs. She also worked as a national sales account executive for a commercial printer located in Des Moines and was co-owner of the award-winning graphic design firm Designgroup Inc. 

 

Connection points

Prior to becoming regional manager at IWLC, she served on the Central Iowa steering and marketing committees. She also is a member of National Association of Women Business Owners Iowa and served on the communications and annual business summit committees. Segura served on the Association of Women in Communication – Des Moines and Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute boards of directors, as well as volunteered at the Des Moines Carousel Foundation, the Powell Chemical Dependency Center and St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and Student Center. She is a graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo., and Des Moines Area Community College.
