Remington has accepted a new professional opportunity that aligns with his passion for service and education, according to a news release. The Iowa FFA Foundation executive committee has appointed Dave Holm as interim executive director during the transition. Holm recently retired after nearly 30 years of leadership at the Iowa Institute for Cooperatives. The Iowa FFA executive committee has launched a search for the foundation’s next permanent executive director. “We are confident in Dave’s ability to lead the Foundation during this interim period,” Julianne Johnston, president of the Iowa FFA Foundation board, said in a prepared statement. “His experience and commitment to Iowa agriculture make him an ideal guide as we look to the future.”
