Iowa Public Television and the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs are seeking short, independent films by Iowans for a new television program called “The Film Lounge.” Submissions are due Aug. 12 and may be two to 30 minutes long in the categories of: animation, art, documentary, experimental, music video, or narrative. Online applications are being taken at this portal. Only one application may be submitted per individual, but applicants may submit up to three films for consideration.
